The Project
The Meetinghouse is currently closed for renovations.
The BAF received a matching grant of $35,000 from the Mass MCC to carry out a preliminary architectural design-feasibility study for the renovation of The Meetinghouse. In winter and spring 2024 the foundation raised the $35,000 match then issued a request for responses for architectural services. The foundation is currently negotiating a contract with the chosen architect for schematic design services and budgeting.
The foundation expects to begin this initial architectural phase of work in September 2024. The preliminary design process will also assist the foundation in developing a renovation timeline for the remainder of the project.
